Why Roy Castle?

Please take a few moments of your time to digest these facts:

According to Cancer Research UK, approximately 45,000 cases of lung cancer were diagnosed in 2013 (most recent statistical data available).

Cancer Research UK also reports that, between 2005 and 2009, the overall five-year survival rate for lung cancer was less than 10%.

Lung cancer kills more people per year than breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers combined - and yet, there is just one charity in the UK dedicated solely to fighting this cruel disease: the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

Tragically, lung cancer is the least funded cancer in terms of research dollars per death of all major cancers, and, unfortunately, one of the only cancers where patients are routinely considered responsible for their condition (ALCF).

Holidazzle 2016 will donate all profit from the gala to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to aid in the fight against this horrific disease.
